Eucharistic Congress

Whoar...can't believe I still wake up so early and wen for the 9am mass when I watched Euro 2004 until 0130 in the morning.After mass no choir practice,so went to Jurong Point Library to kill time.At 1:30pm,I made my way towards Orchard,but went I reached Outram Park MRT station,my bro ask me to get out and meet him outside.The door was gonna close soon man...den I bloated out of the train..lol..when I got out I didn't see him,Why? because I used the wrong exit!..I wasn't familiar with that train station...so...haha..den we went to the Eucharistic Congress at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.Well,there were talks given by priests,urging young people to join the ministry,also asking us to help the people in Liberia,and also 2 inspirational talks by 2 young people from various churches.There was quite a lot of singing..=)It started at 4pm,the mass at 6pm.The mass was 2+hrs,the longest mass I've been to.The homily was lik 30mins?Also the longest homily I've listened.Unfortunately,I wasn't really listening,because I was dozing off..didn't have much sleep.When the singing began,I was wide awake again..hehe..=P Before the mass end,there was the Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament,my 2nd time witnessing it.The 1st was at Novena Church during Youth Explosion.The combine choir was great!My church choirmaster actually asked me to join them a few times,but I didn't because there were too many things to cope..yeah...quite wasted though..sigh..but I went to see how the things go,perhaps next time when there is such event.Also,it's the 1st time I attend a mass with a small ochestra playing the songs,and the conductor actually dropped his baton twice..lol!!..The event was a success,but there was no food provided,and we didn't know it lasted for 4hrs30mins and we're starved.When we reached him it was 10+.That's when we had our dinner..Then I showered at 2330,broke my record also..after that I watched Euro 2004..haha..What an eventful sunday.=D
